On Friday 8/8/08 Nana Flo passed away at Hope Hospice. We were on our way over but didn't make it in time. We (Myself, Glenora, Stephen, Caitlin, Sarah, John) spent the weekend with Vince (her husband), his 3 children and many of their friends in the community. There was a beautiful memorial service for mom on Sunday. It was nice of Ray Chalmers and Mike and Karen Sughrue to attend. My mother was a Daughter of the American Revolution. She was the only child of Stephen and Sarah Stroup and married John Harrington in 1950. John rejoined the Air Force and eventually retired. Flo spent most of her years moving from one air force base to another and raising 3 children. I don't think her upbringing prepared her for the trials and tribulations of being a miltary spouse, but her strength of character helped her to do the best she could for her children.

Health care insurance being tied to employment is a fluke of government wage price controls during WWII. This system is not one of the 10 commandments. 5. Those opposed to Health care reform say this will lead to health care rationing. WE ALREADY DO RATION HEALTH CARE BASED ON PRICE. 6. The Republicans ...
